this documentary by BBC explains how USSR (Soviet Union) doctors treated bacteria by using viruses, so called bacteriophage (bacteria eaters)
and they had one virus phage for each bacteria
they collected bacteria/phages from the sewage, and used phages to treat sick with good success
the center for this research was Georgia
now, the question is, why don’t the Americans use this…
I guess this is because of the pharmaceutical industry
because if you can treat deadly, resistant bacteria just by cultured viruses where’s the profit?
who’d buy antibiotics in this case?
anyway, go get and see the movie
there’s a wiki article on this at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacteriophage
and there are some private companies that charge you a fortune to come there and spend a week…
this therapy is supposed to be cheap… I guess locals get it for cheap while others have to pay a lot… we’ll see…

Hi, Mire. There are many Bacteriophage/Phage Therapy ideas in the pipeline. See my website. If the above link doesn’t get it, sometimes gremlins intrude type
