I have a dog, Tony for like 10 years or so
he’s a mix of Irish setter and some bird hunting dog
now, Tony has been mixing with a neighbors German terrier female dog named Beta
and Beta has been mixing herself with maaaany dogs but she prefers tony
Tony is a gentleman
he’s also shy, has a lot of tolerance to anything
I guess kids could rip him to pieces and he wouldn’t mind 
Beta jumps over the fence to come to my back yard and see Tony
and one morning when I woke up I saw her in Tony’s house with blood on Tony’s blanket and a little black thing next to her
she gave birth 
to a small puppy
Tony could be the father
but so could any of the other dogs she hang out with
I won’t call her by the name I should call her
I’m a gentleman too 
now the puppy looks just like her
and Tony was the gentleman to sleep outdoors on grass while she was busy inside his house with the puppy
I called the neighbor the next day and he picked Beta and her puppy
but the next morning there she was again in Tony’s house with her puppy
she jumped over the fence probably while holding the puppy in her teeth and came here
she must really like Tony
